2.7 cranks but won't start
Hey guys and gals, new here... I'm totally stumped on this one and I hope someone can help.
I recently bought a 2000 Intrepid for a few hundred that was a victim of some guy who tried to replace the water pump, screwed up the timing, and bent the valves.
I found another 2.7 for a decent price that came from a 2001 LHS, I was told, I didn't see the donor car. I put the new motor in my Intrepid, cranked it and it fired right up. Ran for about 5 minutes, then shut it off.
Finished up a few trim items, the hood, etc, and a half hour later I tried it again and it wouldn't start. Checked all the fuses and relays, all fine. Wasn't getting spark or fuel. Replaced cam sensor, now fuel but no spark. Replaced crank sensor, still nothing. Changed out ECM with a spare the previous owner had, still nothing.
No codes of any kind. Anyone have a similar problem?? I am stumped!!
