i have a 2000 intrepid...2.7.......trans is in limp mode..coded out as input and output sensors....can anyone tell me the exact location of these things?

 

Pretty rare for both sensors to just go bad. does your speedometer work? if so, the output speed sensor is fine. the sensors are located in the side of the transmission on the driver side and very easy to get to. input is near the cooler lines. output is about 12" straight back.

 

thanks for the reply....yes the speedo works fine...but the sensors are relatively cheap...and since i will already be under there i will go ahead and replace them both.....thanks again
