Hello, I just recently purchased my first car, a 99 dodge intrepid SE. It has 2 minor issues. 1st being the windows need new regulators; which is no problem for me. 2nd i started to notice that when im driving, and go over a bumpy road there is a knocking noise coming from the driver side, almost sounds as if its right behind the firewall by my feet. Also, it constantly makes the noise at speeds over 50 mph. Here is the crazy part, it ONLY makes the noise when the steering wheel is STRAIGHT, if its slightly turned to the left or the right, it doesnt make it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Also, Anyone know how to bypass the factory amp? My car also has the Infinity system in it. I installed my own amp, subs, and my own head unit, but no sound.

Take a look at the inner tierod end. I bet the rubber is rotted.
