I just purchase on eBay a new OEM 4-disc CD Changer to replace a non-working model in my 2000 Intrepid. Upon plugging in the cable from the AM/FM stereo to the changer, the all lights began to flash on and off and the display on the stereo read "ERR." Can anyone give me any advice?

 

Sounds to me like you have an incompatibilty problem. First off, did your car come with the Infinity system from the factory? Double check all your connections, make sure one or more of them aren't loose, and that the outs are with the outs and the ins are with the ins.

I've got a 96 Intrepid, and it came without the infinity system and standard tape deck setup, which isn't compatable with anything on the face of this earth. I ended up replacing the deck, so I could add an Pioneer amp, cd changer, and woofers.

 

You have a defective changer. It has an internal short.
