My brother has a 1999 Intrepid with the 2.7. First thing is first, We know it had/has a sludge problem, Looking for a good oil to clean the sludging with. I read in another post dropping the pan and replacing O-rings for the oil filter in/out. Other than synthetic, anyone ever try seafoam, any luck?

Now part 2, the car smokes pretty good, any suggestions, I know its oil but it runs like a top, just goes through oil like a Kennedy through a Liquor store.

Car has 160 something thousand miles on it, any thoughts would be apreciated
