Default 99 intrepid 2.7 oil light flickering

The oil light flickers at idle when warm, I changed the oil pressure switch and added the recommended wire vent but it still flickers. The oil pressure test was good. Any ideas where to look??????????

Look if it is leaking oil from the oil pressure sensor. passenger side of engine from underneath the car it is towards the top. I dont believe you can see it from above

Default 99 intrepid oil light flickering

no oil leaks from the pressure switch or anywhere else. the light flickers ai warm idle at about 500 to 600 rpms goes off as you step on the gas
i installed the recommended wire vent but flickering light persists. oil pressure was tested and is good at idle. cant figure it out

How did you test it as good pressure?

What reading did you get @ idle with a mechanical gauge? In my experience with the 2.7, the oil pump/pickup is usually the culprit.

I changed the oil fuel sensor, like it said in one of these posts- i got the flicker still for 3 weeks, and noticed the last week-nothing!

Refer to procedures in this section for removing the following components:
Crankshaft Damper
Timing Chain Cover
Timing Chain
Crankshaft Sprocket
Oil Pan
Remove oil pick-up tube and O-ring Oil Pump and Pick-up Tube
Ensure that crankshaft position is at 60° ATDC of No.1 cylinder, or crankshaft sprocket mark aligns with mark on oil pump Crankshaft Positioned At 60° ATDC No.1 Cylinder This position will properly locate oil pump upon installation.
Remove oil pump attaching bolts Oil Pump and Pick-up Tube
Remove oil pump
INSTALLATION
CAUTION: Crankshaft position must be at 60° ATDC of No.1 cylinder before installing oil pump Crankshaft Positioned At 60° ATDC No.1 Cylinder This position will properly locate oil pump. If not properly located, severe damage to oil pump can occur.

Prime oil pump before installation by filling rotor cavity with engine oil.
If crankshaft has been rotated, it must be repositioned to 60° ATDC of No.1 cylinder prior to oil pump installation Crankshaft Positioned At 60° ATDC No.1 Cylinder
Install oil pump carefully over crankshaft and into position.
Install oil pump attaching bolts. Tighten bolts to 28 N·m (250 in. lbs.) Oil Pump and Pick-up Tube
Install oil pick-up tube with new O-ring. Lubricate O-ring before installation. Tighten attaching bolts to 28 N·m (250 in. lbs.) Oil Pump and Pick-up Tube
