2004 Engine Blown, What engine will fit
So I got a 2004 3.5L Chrysler intrepid "VIN M" the timing belt went and so did the motor.
I though of just putting new heads one but that's 1500. with out labor and there is no guarantee that it will work.
So I started Looking for a used one, and have a couple prospects. ones and 3.5L from and 2002 and the other a 2003,
What I want to know is what 3.5L from the other years and modles are directly interchange able? I basically just wasn't to bolt in and go. SO I can expand my search.

www.car-part.com will answer your question. Check out this forum, there's a guy that put a V8 in his Intrepid. So to expand on your question "What engine will fit" A 5.9L will fit.
