Default P0700 and P0888 Codes

Did a search but nothing for a P0888 code.

P0888 TCM Power Relay Sense Circuit

2004 Dodge Intrepid

Everything was fine just changed battery and now stuck in 2nd gear have reverse but that's it. Would appreciate any help/suggestions. I assume it's 2nd gear as it will run 50 mph at 4000 rpms.

Thanks, Jeff

I suggest you get a shop manual, a scanner, a DVOM and start there. Trying to figure out what is wrong with out these tools is pretty much impossible. Could be anything from a bad relay to a broken wire to a fried computer or a blown fuse. Hopefully when you changed the battery, you didn't accidently reverse polarity even for split second.

Problem solved and lesson learned. Never ever take your car to Wal Mart for a battery change. They put them fiber washers under the battery terminals and the terminals would not seat. Both cables were loose. Took washers out and terminals tightened up and shifts like a champ.

Thanks for everyone looking in!

Jeff
