2002 2.7L Dreaded Spun Bearing
I am working on a 2002 Intrepid with a 2.7L with one spun bearing and several rough crank journals. I assume I cannot pull the crank with the engine in the car.
I'm getting ready to pull the engine and leave the tranny in the car. I have removed the oil pan and the 4 bolts that connect the flywheel to the torque converter. Once I remove the bell housing bolts, should the engine and tranny come apart when I get ready to pull the engine or are there other things to disconnect?
Also, are there any other things to look our for when trying to pull the engine?
Thanks in advance,
Danny
