Stuck Tranny Solenoid - 04 Intrepid
Hoping for a little info.
My wife's car is a 2004 Dodge Intrepid - 2.7L - 78,000 Miles.
It started a few days ago. While driving along, she pressed lightly on the gas. When it kicks downs, it stays there. It will not shift up or down. It runs about 3,000 RPM at 45 MPH.
Today, I took it to a buddy of mine that owns a repair shop and he read the tranny code. I didn't think to notice the code (Brain fart). But, it said "stuck transmission solenoid valve".
Now for the question: Does anyone know how hard or involved it is to replace this Once I determine which one it is?
