Cold start problem
Starting it, after sitting over night it'll spits and spudders for 3 to 4 minutes. At that point, it smoothes out and runs fine the rest of the day. I've had P codes check, first one was '1684' camshaft sensor, I replaced it, no change. Next, comes '0300' misfire code 5 out 6 plugs, replaced plugs, no change.
I looked up tons of info on these problems and one website or video said it could be a fuel line pressure leak. I heard a simple test to check for a leak. What I was told to do, with the first start, turn the key to on position, but don't start it. Leave the key on for 3 or 4 minutes, I tried it. The idea behind this is it gives the fuel pump time to get fuel to the injectors After waiting those few minutes, I started the car. It spits and spudders for the same 3 or 4 minutes as a cold start. Leads me to believe it might not be the fuel line pressure problem.
If anyone has an idea let me know.
Thank you, Kelley
