Speaker wiring problem
How-ty
I had to replace my radio / cd player and was hooking up the speakers. I am quite sure that I wired it correctly however I am not getting anything out of any of the speakers. I ohmed out the speakers and got less than 10 ohms, so, I am guessing they are OK. I also hooked a old junker speaker to the new radio and it worked fine, thus I think the radio is fine too. Is there a splicing connector between the jack that plugs into the radio and the actual speakers? I find it most odd that all 4 don't have continuity to the original wiring to the radio. I am also hesitant to completely disassemble the interior or pull new wires through the front door speaker since ALL the wires in the door go through the same rubber 'boot'. Anybody knw if there is a connector between the radio and the speaker, and if so, where about?
I have a 2000 Dodge Intrepid ES 3.2L with 120,000 flawless miles, except no radio.

i had an intrepid, but sold it for the srt4 and i had a system in it. does it have an infinity system, if so you have to bypass the factory amp since you are putting in a new non factory radio. or the premium sound is the same as infinity.
If you have the premium sound system, it will have an amp in the car. At the top of tis fourm is a link (says holy grail). It is a link to a complete service manual for a 2000 Intrepid (from Dodge), and you should be able to find every connector, location, wire color, and pin number than you need, without having to "completely disassemble the interior or pull new wires through the front door speaker." The book also contains the location of all subcomponents ect, so that you will be able to bypass or incorpotate any existing components. Here is a shortcut to the link https://dodgeforum.com/m_467728/tm.htm
