ok anyway.... there are stickies on the top just for turbos. you have a few options. you can get a hahn kit, or do an srt setup. you cannot go over around 7 lbs though unless you have a built motor. its not as simple as just putting a turbo on however, there are many other things that need o be upgrades such as fuel and oiling system though. but it is possible and people have done it.

That pretty much covers it, read up in the turbo sticky for some basic information. I have a "complete" list of parts you'll need for the SRT-4 kit thats much more extensive then the one I currently have in the sticky, but its in Excell and when I copy and paste it gets all f'ed up. The only main problem with a turbo R/T is the spark timing...the R/T computer likes to really play around when it advances/retards timing, and when it notices other things going on it goes crazy. With that said, its not a major deal, and even if you left the computer controlling fuel and spark you could still make a nice turbo R/T...MS'n'S is the way to go however.

why do you all make statements that aren't true... I ran 10psi all day and all night without a built motor. Do you guys not understand that PSI does not mean anything. It's torque that blows motors not PSI.

250-270 wheel torque with out a good tune and your pushing your luck with a stock block.

Becareful what you read on the internet my friend... take what you read with a grain of salt. If anything, its a good place to help you start your own research.

I ran 15,000 very hard miles on that car... Engine ran as good as it did the day i bought it. Got rid of it a year ago when i moved to Hawaii from MA.

I suggest you swap a SRT-4 motor...

Unless you know your **** and can tune, the SRT swap is the way to go. You will have power and still be factory controlled.
