here's a question... with the other companys going with retro designs....

what if they put out, say, a Dodge Charger..or Challenger... that looked exactly like say a 1970 Charger...
I know, they would have to have all they safety stuff and new reg. stufff in it...but don't u think we have the technology to do that?... I mean it was THIER DESIGN AND NAME! How great would that sell?
Why does it HAVE to be a new design? ..just try it on ONE CAR?!?

Dodge has done and is doing alot of great things. The dodge neon srt 4 was probably the smartest thing that dodge ever did. The dumbest thing they ever did was quit making the neon all together! It seems that everything that dodge is coming out with now is close to unafordable for average income people. I like alot of the new vehicles that dodge is coming out with. I would of liked to see how much further they could have taken the neon srt4 though!

 

It seems like more SUV's are coming out. Sports cars are being pushed aside.

I still don't understand why they stopped making Supras.

 

Guess Im the only one on here that loves the caliber Im waitin for the srt4 version to come out so I can get it . I also love the magnum more than the charger especailly the srt8 version.

Yea but its all of chrysler products. The new Sebring, all the new jeeps ugly models. Thats why so many durangos and dakotas are still unsold cause of the new design I hate his boxy designs i hope it gets better in the future

 

Unfortunately for us the Neon was no longer selling well. To think I bought an unpopular car (NO WAY :LOL. Anyway the new Caliber like it or not put the factor back to capacity as they also introduced the Jeep Compass on the same chassis and gave the long Laid-Off night shift their shift back. So we shall see. Just don;t see it as a new Neon overall. Toyota has no problem selling small cars, so the issue is design and reliability. With due dilagence they could have made the Neon and sucessors a worldwide top notch competitor. Just the bean counters got in the way and they maximized profits NOW (corporate CEO's need their benifits and bonus package) in deference to long term success. Short sited if you ask me. They car was basically solid in the end, so what a 3rd gen could have done if they worked on noise abatement and reliability upgrades??? One can only wonder.

But the facory is back to work so hopefully they counted better than I.

 

Dodge should have replaced the Neon with another car not a crossover.

 

I sure see alot of calibers out there on the roads and mostly college age to highschoolers . Ive also seen alot of nicely modded ones also on cardomain.

I have only seen maybe 5 on the roads here. Definitly no more than 10. They are not selling well here at all. And of those few I have only seen 1 more than once. It is a light blue one that I have seen a couple times. Color is okay, I think it looks better on the caliber than it woul on a neon but I don't like calibers lol. When does the SRT-4 version come out? hopefully that will be better. Any word on if it is turbocharged or supercharged? I assume it will be a turbo but a supercharger would be sort of cool.
