I recently bought some plug wires and plugs from howellautomotive.com, 2 days after i placed the order i found a really good deal on a Ford Focus SVT so i traded in the neon. So obviously i had no need for the plugs and wires. I called to cancel the order but they told me they had already been shipped but i accidently gave them the wrong address so they were being returned to howell. Even though the package was already on its way back to howell, they would no give me a refund. I have never been treated with such disrespect in my life! I dont know the name of the guy that i talked to but he was a complete ******* right off the bat!

The bottom line is i will have a brand new set of crane plug wires and accell std heat range spark plugs. I paid 75$ with shipping I'll let them go for 50$ and i will pay for shipping to whoever wants them.

Its been really great being a part of this forum, i hope i can find a quality focus svt forum but i doubt i will be able to find an experience better than i encountered on this forum. You guys are great!

i had something next day shipped to me and it took them three days to get it to me, and howell said that they would not drop off the package without a signator...AND IN PERSON!!! well when fedex comes threw my area i am always at work, so i will prolly not be buying anything from them anymore... and i spent over 700 dollars in one order....i better get my parts on monday!!!!

 

Howell has the policy on the bottom of the page. Their policy sucks but that's what it is. No they didn't have to be an a$$. They should atleast let you send it back and make u pay a little bit.
Modern performance has a better policy all the way around PERIOD. Make sure you order your parts for your focus from them. I would highly recommend them. I have had nothing but good experience from them.

yeah, i also ordered some stuff from modern, very happy with them, but they did not have my 40 lb injectors like howell did....

 

I also had trouble with howell sent me bad taillights two yrs ago and never went back modern is my hook up for neon parts from now on and they have faster shipping .

 

Yeah modern is insanely good all around.
