Default Disappointing News on Pacesetter Warranty

I called to send my Pacesetter header back to get it fixed since I'm still under my warranty. It has a hole the size of a small rock in it. It seems as it it's a manufacters default. I was going to get it fixed and sell it but they said I would have to pay around 107 dollars to get a new one.
Oh well. I guess I'll have to throw it in the trash where it belongs.

I ordered it June 7, 2004 and I received it a few weeks later.[:@]
I had to replace majority of the tubes on the Pacesetter cat-back too. The cat-back is rusting out. POS.
I'm going to get a stainless steel cat-back soon.

A stick welder? I'm going to ask about that.
I was actually trying to get it welded but they said it would probably make the hole larger since it's aluminized steel. Since I have nothing to loose on the header, I'll probably have somebody try to weld it. If that doesn't go well, I would never sell junk to someone else.

For 107 dollars I might as well buy a new Pacesetter header. I would never buy a new product from them again so that's pointless. I did sense an attitude from the guy I was talking to though. They should at least try to make a customer happy. They set up their warranty so nobody wants to go through with it.
