Transmission fluid change
2005 Neon sxt
Want to change my transmission fluid , I went to Kragen and got a filter it cane with a cork gasket. should I use the cork gacket ? also what are the torque spects for the transmission filter bolts?

be crazy careful torquing the bolts on. They are suposed to go to about 13.5 - 14 ft pounds. AND THATS IT!! i had 3 strip out at 15 lbs. I would not torque more then 13 lbs. just make a nice bead of rtv and it wont leak. dont use the cork!
