So should I stick with the stock OEM srt4 backpipe?

 

I only have the catback with tips and glasspack on my sxt thats all you will need.

 

at this point all I am looking for is the back pipes (where it branches off into 2 pipes off of the muffler)

 

Yep thats all I went with at first than I had to get a glasspack got in trouble by some small town cops for my exhaust being to loud.

 

Got it yesterday.

And beautiful back pipes, where did you get them?

 

Theres a ton of them for sale over on srt forums since most go 3inch also you can just add any glasspack muffler to it the cops wont bug you then.

 

i believe all neons are 2.25" exhaust back until the rear section where the muffler is... but i could be mistaken.
as for the 3"... on a n/a engine too little back pressure can actually hurt performance (unlike turbocharged motors) here is a good read on backpressure: https://dodgeforum.com/m_729227/tm.htm
