Hey guys, any of you know where I can get some prices on finding some used and one manual transmissions for my 2000 dodge neon. If it's priced right, I am very interested in doing a swap out of my auto tranny and turn it into a manual...all of your help is much needed and will be very helpful, thanks!

 

not sure about prices, but i know you will need the new trans, probably a flywheel instead of the flex plate. new pcm of the year you have, from a manual transmission, a new trans mount, shifter cables, shifter itself, pedals, clutch master and slave cylinder, and prob something else i am forgetting.

 

yikes...sounds very expensive and time consuming, is doing a swap a major overhaul or even realistic, i mean i just dont want to spend too much money...im thinkin $1000 at best...wut do u guys think??

 

that sounds right i think my friend has a wrecked neon want to sell the MTX tranny in it for 300 dollars plus and other things our little more
