Default MSD Ignition system

I'm leaning on ordering an MSD ignition system today or very soon. What do you guys think of that? Do u guys think this will be a nice upgrade?
I'm either going to order that or replace my PAcesetter cat-back with a 2.5 inch Stainless steel exhaust.

Other than the mods in my signature, here are my other mods.

Perform. mods: AFX Race PCM, AEM CAI, Pacesetter C-back, AFX UDP, 60mm MPx Throttle Body, Prothane Motor M. Inserts, Accel 19lb Fuel inj., Vibrant front strut tower bar, Progress Rear Sway Bar, B. bushings, Mopar STS, MSD coil & wires

One of the main reasons I'm thinking of getting the MSD ignition system is b/c my car takes a bit longer to start than it should. It's been like that ever since my recently installed list. I'm thinking it might need more spark. It's either the spark or it might need to get more fuel. My mechanics said the timing marks are right on. The mechanic that did the recently installed list thinks I need to get my computer reprogrammed and the other thinks the car isn't getting enough gas. I really don't think it's the gas.
Other than that, it should be a nice improvement in performance.

I thought people get Megasquirt when they can't get a reprogrammed computer. I have the AFX race pcm. From what I've heard, Megasquirt strictly helps fuel. Is that right?

MS'n'S controls fuel and spark...but, I can see why you would want to go with the MSD system for spark only. Its a great system and I've never eard anything bad about it.

it is complicated... but it is... THE ONLY WAY!

I would go either way. I might actually go for the exhaust and decide later on what kind of system you want... that is ofcourse you know you really want the MSD ignition system

megasquirts controls fuel, spark, and pretty much whatever else you want it to (boost, water injection, nitrous, anything else that gets you hard). and no i dont have it working yet lol been ery busy with school. im done with finals on wed. this whole doctor thing is proving to be harder than i thought lol

You could, in theory, have MS control EVERYTHING and ANYTHING you want it to but no one that I'm aware of has done so with a Neon, yet....

While I agree the MS is far superior since you have more options, the MSD system will be much more "plug and play" and easier to tune IMO.

if the car is n/a the msd is almost pointless since it can only retard the spark which is needed if you are boosted or run really high compresion. It does give youstronger spark but too me it not worth the money if you buy it for just that reason.
