Default More problems...

I was driving in 4th gear today and all of a sudden the gas pedal did not work. I then pulled off on the side of the road and i found that my car turned off. The oil light went on but i just had the oil changed about 1500 miles ago. After i pulled over the car started just fine and i was on my way once again. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what went wrong?

Check your vital fluids, but it sounds like you had something take out reference voltage and basically turn you off for a moment. That can be hard to find. Could be a sensor shorting to ground and taking reference voltage with it.

Basically a wiring problems somewhere.

the only time ive ever kinda experienced my gas pedal not working was:
when the car has died but you think its still running
when i ran the old auto neon off the road everything turned off lol
when i hit my speed limiter kinda felt that way...
