I am not sure if my car is misfiring or what it is doing, when I go up hills and get up to like 40 mph my car jerks and makes a real bad clickining noise, if anyone could give me some advise on what to do, I just had the spark plugs changed in Feb.

 

is it an auto or manual, year, plug wires?

 

Just check your codes the check engine light doesnt have to be on to throw a code so check that first.

 

it is a 2002 and auto, not sure about plug wires, if this is the problem is this an expensive problem to fix?

 

how do I check the codes? My light did come on awhile ago but had a tune up completed and after that the light was off

 

turn the key to on-off-on-off-on and it will pop up where the odometer is. dont turn the car on though

 

just the mileage popped up when I did that

 

you continually do it till the code pops up if no codes are thrown then Done will appear

 

I did that like 30 times and still didn't get a Done

 

does anyone else have any suggestions on what this could be? the on-off-on-off-on didn't work, Done didn't come up and I did it like 30 times
