It says the curb weight is 2626, so unless you are REALLY fat, I don't know where the other 1000 lbs comes from...Still lighter than a 2005+ mustang!

That weight can't be right. the AWD WRX STi only way 3400 and has a bigger motor. Neons weigh around 2600 stock like SXT said.
When it comes to speed this magazine I was reading compared the two. When it comes to speed it is exactly the same. Their 0-60 and 1/4 mile times where exactly the time to the tenth of a second. Handling...not sure. The WRX STi is about 200lbs heavier. I don't know if I believe the mag too much though...the STi is a smaller looking car, 2.5 liter engine while evo has 2.0...idk. I like how the Evo looks more though.
