My sister's Neon check engine light came on Tuesday.......pulled the trouble code P0601. After running a search on the forum I realized this meant her computer was pretty much done for. My sisters Neon is an '01 with 65K on the ticker. Her extended warranty ran out and I thought I was going to have to foot the bill out of pocket. After running the search I found out about the 8/80K Federal Warranty on the PCM. Much to my delight, the vehicle was fixed for free!! I just wanted to thank everyone because I would have paid the cost out of pocket to get the car repaired had I not searched. I truely cannot imagine what life was like before internet forums
