Default Booger Bushings

Just got my four boogers and one is larger than the other three...is this correct???anybody know...have a 2nd gen sxt if that is needed..

I believe one bushing is fat and the others should be the same size. If one is barely longer than the other, it should be fine. Use some grease to make the installation easier. Just make sure they click in place on the shifter.

yup one is fatter....your right.....i cant get them on with just grease...thinkn about using a c-clamp lol

OMG how did you put those things on??? i feel like ima break something with the c-clamp.....all you used was some grease and slipped them on....they are a pain for me...

Use a little bit of force if u have to. Like I said, try to make them lock. You'll know when they lock in place. The fat bushing goes in the engine bay.

I highly recommend u put the grease in the inside of the holes.

Are u using grease?
I did use a large enough plier to grab the bushing and lock it in place. Just be careful.

yeah im using some left over wheel bearing grease i bought from autozone....these things are rough....i got them on the pins for the shifter...now im trying to connect the linkage with the shifter (and new bushings..)

well, despite my minor setbacks....i finally got the install done about two hours ago 12:00 am....wouldve been easier in the daylight...lol...anyway fells much better...no play in the linkage awesome buy...

okay i was driving down the interstate and the dang bushings fell clear off the pins on the cables lol!!!! thats why it was so hard to put them on because i put them on backwards....well its fixed now im such a dumbass....oh..and after i fixed that i got a nail in one of my nice new performance tires lol.....jeez what a day...
