Default engine block?

Anyone have an old neon engine block? i wanna start buildin a decent pavement pounder for my car, 350-400 hp, so anyone have an old but good block?

hit the salvage yards my friend, the 2.0 engines can be found madd cheap

i have a full motor sitting in my garage..... what all are you looking for? i.e. just stripped block, block with pistons... with head??

just the block, i wanna get a stroker kit for it, new head, higher compression pistons, all the good stuff. Id hit a scrapyard but theres no neons init haha, id have to go all the way to San Diego, and thats a good 2 hours away.

I'd rather find a motor close to my area if I were u (junk yard). I'd hate to pay for shipping on something that heavy. Neons are pretty common so it shouldn't be hard finding a motor. It's a lot harder to find a 2nd gen neon motor since it's a newer model.
