Default anything illegal about this tail-light mod?

quicky mod, until I can save up for the LED taillights I really want...found these things very cheap, one of those 'hey, those will fit an 03-05 Neon' kinda thing... said in the package that you should check local laws, only for show or off road use... Is that just the standard "cover their a$$" little statement, that is included with most aftermarket stuff? It's just a smoked/pattern type edge, while the red lens' show thru in the middle... I thought as long as there is red it's OK...

Yes, there shouldnt be any problem with your mod...that statement is just a general statement to cover themselves legally.

You will not get any crap from any cops thats legal I have my stockers that way but going to tint my red and leave my backups white. They look nice and not to many to that .

Shouldn't be a problem. But I don't really like the tails that much.

Stay away from the little one-horse, one-cop towns, and you should be fine.........
