headlights repair kit?
does anyone know of any way to clean the headlights, cause mine are a lil' bit "foggy", and i'd like to make them look clear/new, i've seen/heard of kits that are sold at various advance auotoparts, autozone, and other 'remedies' to clean them. but i'd like to know if anyone in here actually knows which one works or which one would give me a better result.
thanks in advance

Mine are also, my dad cleaned his on his golf. Using like 1400grit sand paper and 1800grit(anywhere around there would be fine). Than using a buffer with polishing compound and they came out extremely clear. Only bad thing about this is it takes off whatever coating is applied to the headlights and after a year they will be foggy again but you just have to do this again. I was going to look into some kind of protectant or those headlight skins to try and make it last longer.
try Plastix, i believe it is made by meguiar (spelling) i use that stuff to polish my headlights and tail lights also the plastic that covers the gauges, comes out very very clean. try it out
