Default fuel pump ?....

Ok so my car hasnt been starting correctly lately. I have to hold in my gas pedal and continue to pump it in order for it to start right. But anyway, my question is this: Could my car not starting right be caused by a fuel pump? If so am i able to just get a new fuel pump and things might be better than?

Are those the only mods u have on your car?
It's very possible that it's your fuel pump. Have you put any fuel cleaner in your car? How are the spark plugs and wires? When was the last time they've been replaced?

For plugs- Champion or NGK Iridium

For wires- in my opinion, something like MSD or Mopar for original quality.

I doubt its the fuel pump...if it were I would imagine you would have issues while the car was running as well, not just when you were trying to start it on occassion. I would check the plugs and wires...make sure none of the plugs are fouled and check the wires for corrosion...

I know I've probably asked this before, and you've probably posted it a dozen times, but what are the exact symptoms your Neon has?
