Default Magnum HO 2.0 Motor vs Regular Identification

I have an 01 motorsport edition (the one that comes with the spoiler and those 12 (or something) spoke 16" wheels from the factory. I've been told this is similar to an RT. Is this true? Does it have the magnum motor or not? Is there an identifying mark on the block?

Yes, there are identifications on the head that say "R/T" and on the block as well IIRC...as far as I know the Motorsport was not equipped with the Magnum HO engine. A really quick check would be to pop your hood and look at the intake manifold, if its black and plastic, not an HO. You can also just look at your VIN, if you have an HO engine the 8th digit of your VIN # will be an "F".
