and as far as swapping for the SRT4 motor... many talk about it and few actually follow through with it

 

i looked into to it and i gotten told that it would be a headache switching it into a sxt..

 

I wanted to do the swap but got scared off by having bad luck finding a good engine all beaten to crap and so were the trannys.

 

i found 1 srt4 in the junk yard it had been a 2 mile tuck n roll accident and the engine was 2 month old but it was flooded didnt know what was what i imagine the tranny ..

 

Yeah finding a nice low mileage engine and tranny is hard and Im pretty much happy with my engine mods I have now mostly modded for show anyways.

 

Actually there's a really good deal on eBay if anyone's thinking about doing a swap. I'd TOTALLY go for it but I owe a friend 500 bucks. Hopefully a deal as good as this will come back in about 5 or 6 months, haha.

itd be a nice drive for me. if i even drove out there, itd be to the srt-4 store to have the swap done and everything. Load the car up on a trailer to a truck and go for a weekend trip. But with turbo vs. swap, good luck finding a good condition swappable engine. Like everyone here says to each other " you get what you pay for"

 

depends on the conditons and the experience you have on engines , but really engine swap from sxt to srt 4 and the cost plus labor , i figure y not put a down payment on a used lot for a real srt 4..
