depends on the scion , seems like the tc has the only similar bolt pattern the neons, but the box looking ones or 4 lugs universal
You would be correct. As far as I know the tC is the only Scion to have a 5x100 bolt pattern.

all depends all crystal chrome is your housing to shine out your 8000k hid kit, but you know how is the law, but hey i got the inside of a cop who pulled me over , they have a technique when they see a car with aftermarket blue headlites bulb they pulled them over and make them turn there lights off and if the shine there flash light to the housing and see the blue coating relfecting on the housing you get a ticket or a warning for the blue bulbs, but with hids you have no prob how blue or purple because it using a gas and blastic to give the color not a bulb color glass...

Ok, Airwolf, myself, and a few others had this discussion a few months back regarding HID's with halogen reflectors....so heres the deal, it doesnt matter if they are stock headlights or black housing headlights, they still have the same exact reflectors inside the housing. The HID kits that most people purchase and throw into a housing with halogen reflectors will get a bad glare, its not opinion, its a scientific fact. Also, depending on the temperature bulb you get, you will also have worse light output then stock halogen bulbs (true 10k and 12k kits for example). If you stay within the 4300-6000K MAX area, you wills ee slightly improved lighting, but again, anyone driving toawrds you will be totally blinded from the glare of your HID's. The glare happens because the entire HID bulbs light is being used, in a projector the light is cut at a certain angle to get a crisp transition line and zero glare for oncoming drivers. Again, this is not opinion, this is fact.

Is hid in stock housing that bad? I had it in mine... 6000k... looks pretty good to me so far... although i do have the S style eyelid on... do you mean it's bad as in it'll blind incoming cars? the S style eyelid help block out some of the higher light...
