You maybe getting what we call ( dodge techs ) a bump stop. The rear gasket is leaking pressure when it shouldn't, It part of the low reverse piston retainer. Seal kit will fix that problem.
How much does a seal kit usually run? I tried looking it up on Autozone's website. Would installing it be as simple as dropping the pan, changing the filter and installing the new seal?

when i took my car over to a shop and got the trans pan replaced(it was leaking fluid), they use silicone instead of the gasket. something with how dodge thinks it works better
