OK. Here it is i am looking at a Howell 2.0 SOHC performance master engine rebuild kit. Here are the following questions:

What should the bore size be?
standard, 20, 30, 40 over
Camshaft?
1580010, 1580012, 1580014
Forged or not forged?
Main Bearing Size?
standard, 25mm, 50mm
Pistons?
8.6, 10.5, 12.5
Rod Bearing size?
Standard, 25mm, 50mm
Rod Length?
Standard Rod or Long Rod

if some one with extensive knowledge of this rebuild kit can help i would greatly appreciate it. i have the time and the know how to put it in just not what would work for a SXT build up.

These are the engine kits at Howell.

FYI: The engine kits at Modern are cheaper.

I would never get a turbo kit from howell there not good at all for any neon there are two turbos either hahn kits or doing the srt swap the two best out there and worth the money and time.

well i want n/a once i am done with all that then i got a reliable enough engine to throw a stage 3 turbo. And yes i seen the engine rebuild kits at modern and they are cheaper. but doing the research i found that i am ok with anything less then a 13.5:1 compression ratio so i am guessing that i should go with a 20 over piston a forged cam and everything else 1 up from standard. and just so you guys know i am doing all this on a outboard motor. meaning that i am going to do this on a engine that i might possibly get soon. a 2.0 DOHC.

Im thinkin if I go turbo to get the hahn stage2 kit for my sxt either from modern or from hahn themselves howellis crap for there business Ive delt with them before. Not the nicest guys over there. Modern is so much better.

i appreciate your help but it still leaves my question unanswered. i don't mean to be a dick and please don't take me a such. but i want my neon to be street friendly but real fast at the track it is definetly gonna be a sleeper. but what size of each item should i get b/c even with modern you need to know what size you want of each.
