Default My 2004 SXT pics

2004 SXT 5-spd

Had it since new, moderate list of mods because I don't have much $...so I usually do everything from scratch by myself from something laying around in the garage (like the grille)... but I try to keep it sporty looking but clean-looking at the same time. Let me know what you guys think.

Looks good. The next thing i'd do if I were u would be to drop it.
I'd love to drop my car but I have new struts that wouldn't be able to handle the drop. I don't want to kill them.

Yes definately a little bit of a drop, other than that it does look nice, exceeds the look of most neons that drive around haha! It's funny because most neon drivers dont give a CRAP about their cars, so when they see people like us on the forums, there like, "That's possible to do to a NEON????" haha

Looks clean.

But you really, really need to drop it. Like maybe a 12' drop or something cuz she's sitting a lil too mean.

Looks good! I'd say clear or smoked out side lenses and third brake light but looks good. Grille with lights is very different than most I've seen, very cool!

Looks like you have Kumho's Ecsta AST cuz that looks like the tread I have on mine. lol.

Yeah those are the tires, same as yours ($52 each from Tirerack - can't go wrong with that). The grille is a $10 sheet of expanded steel from Home Depot that I cut and formed to the inside of the bumper... before I put it in, I just cut out the factory slats in the bumper, shimmed the holes and fiberglassed it myself before covering it with the chrome stripping ($6). Foglights are 2 years old now, and were under $15 at WalMart... the decal on the sides was from Murray's Auto Parts and was $14 for the whole thing... it was a big blob that I cut out and re-laid into a strip before I put it down the sides of the car. This car has also been hit by a drunk driver down the driver's side and hit by a mailbox and pole down the passenger-side, including the windshield and mirror. I did all the bodywork and paint myself and replaced what was needed... truth be known, the driver's-side rear fender and bodylines is actually a 3" deep x 14" long section of fiberglass... damn drunk hit me hard enough to cave the unibody. So needless to say, she's been through a lot but you'd never know it by looking at her or driving it!
