Default need help

yesterday i came out of work and had a flat i tried changing the tire but 1 lug nut was on way to tight when i tried taking it off it snapped the whole nut that its attached to and now i cant get the lug off I'm trying to hammer it with a chisel anybody else got any ideas what to do?

I'm not understanding...what exaclty snapped off when you were trying to remove the lug?

eww. you mean the stud itself snappe off??? if thats the case, perhaps you could carefully drill it out.

Haha what a coincidence...

The wheel studs are press fit, so if the stud itself snapped then the lug and wheel should come off...then all he would need is something with a point to pound the stud out of the wheel hub.

i was trying to take the lugs off 4 out of 5 came off the 5th one i tried to take off and now the stud seems to be loose not loose enough to get the tire off tho plus the lug is still on it tight as hell and the 4way wren wont work because the lug aint twisting the whole stud is spinning im trying to break the lug with a hammer and chisel just to get the tire off so i can change it and then buy a new stud n lug

better than not being able to get it off and driving on 3 wheels ..haha that'd be cool, not.
