Well it's kind of hard to accurately give an observation of it in a nutshell, but this is exactly what the transmission cooler did for me. I remember the first day I got the transmission cooler installed I got in a race with my brother across the marsh which is a mile long straight away. We were on our way home and we were just having some fun. Anyways he started flooring it and pulled away, so i floored it too. And the next thing i knew i went flying by him and the car just kept going and going, it was almost as if it never gave up even past 90. I was completely convinced that it was the tranny cooler, no doubt. The neons transmission, at least the automatic, isnt a very high quality product and i think it overheats, especially at high speeds, which it seemed to always kind of shutdown past 85 mph and slowly mozy its way past 100mph even when flooring it. I was so imprsssed though, my car drifted to 116mph with meaness, even my bro was suprised how fast i went by him even when i was behind and he was flooring it! Of course i ruined this short lived amazmeent when i stuck on the 60mm throttle body, i just found my stock throttle body today and i am having someone put it on for me later next week when i get my state inspection cause i lost all my hardware for it. The throtttle body just ****s with all of my gears and timing, i cant wait to get back to my old routine with the stock t/b, and slap on an underdrive pulley, should really pick up some gains with those two combos! But yes, i love the tranny cooler, very pleasing to my mind knowing im doing SOMETHING to aid my car when i am abusing it during speeding. I really am convinced that the car performs much better if the tranny is being cooled down by having its own personal cooling system, its def. a hidden horsepower modificaiton that nobody ever mentions!

Adionik, the place that installed my transmission cooler attached it to the front of the existing radiator of the car. Is that what you meant when you said you need to know where to mount it??
P.S :
Nswap, I never had an issue in the winter with the tranny cooler, and I live here in maine where winters here ar absolutely brutal, so you shouldnt have an issue with the cold temperatures or anything, at least i know i never had an issue with it.
