2001 SOHC

I replaced the head, head gasket, cam, timing belt , water pump, tensioner

Put it back together, ran great, then overheated. Milkshake in radiator, oil not reading on dipstick.

Checked compression, its fine.

so..., blown gasket?, wrong head gasket?, wrong head?, any clues?????

Man, all that work and $$, I cant believe it.

 

Do you have an automatic ? is the coolant pink milkshake.

 

Tore it down again and turned out I had the gasket flip floped. Replaced again[:@].

Its running well now.
