You need to get new struts if you want to stick with that tire/wheel combination since your rubbing against the spring perch...the Tokico HP Blues should work nicely for you.
What do these run?! I'm afraid to even ask at this point.ORIGINAL: 03neonRT

I have a set of 17's in my basement, Borbet Rims (one rim has a slight bend but still holds air fine) with Kumho ASX tires....got them off of tire rack if anyone's interested.Personally, I'd try and unload the set you got and go with a set of 17's....

They sell on Ebay for $255 shipped brand new, or if you purchase the Tokico lowering springs with the struts it goes to $300 I think.ORIGINAL: demonbasketball04

Lowering springs?! Wouldn't that just make my situation worse?!

The problem your having is your tires are rubbing against the spring perch, which is stationary on the strut no matter what type of spring or how much drop you have. The Tokico HP Blues has a higher strut perch then the stock Neon, so it will allow you to run those wider tires...when you add lowering springs the only thing that gets lowered is the car, the strut perch and strut will still be at the same height.

You definitely don't want them to rub, I had the same problem a while back but only had that set of wheels. It was hell.
