Default Dome

Hey guys, i just got my dome light in the mail from the srt-4 store. I gotta say, that it looks awesome and i highly recommend it. It replaces the bulb with a circuit board with 48(i think) LEDs and really lit up the car. I got green, and will have to get pics tomorrow. got it in under a week and the installation wasnt too bad. just gotta be creative on how to wire the board.

dude i dont mean to be a complete dick but i hope you didnt pay more than you would have for these instead of what you got from the SRT-4 Store.... http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm scroll down all you would have to do is take the LED panel and cut that attachment off i think....

SRT-4 Store is a great Neon/SRT vendor, and he always has good prices on his products and group buys. From everything I've seen those LED panels are pretty sharp looking.

I am good friends with the one guy from the srt4store, I reccomend all their products, those dome lights are nice too, what color did you get. Also check out those 3rd tail lights, they have them in alot of colors and you can wire it to blink with your turnsignals, very cool.

they were cool to deal with, shipping didnt take long, and the board really shines up the car. I got green to match my gauges and underdash green neon tubes. like i said. id recommend this to anyone who wants a shine in the interior

does anyone know, with these LED replacements... can you still have the switch set on "fade out" or whatever they call that?..
I always thought that was a cool feature and never had a car before where the dome light fades out when turning off..

I was thinking one time about replacing the dome light with some kind of small neon tube...but thought that feature might mess up the neon bulb...

i got green. if you are talking about how it fades when the door is shut or turning it off and all that, it does fade out. the installation was the only weird thing, but once u get it youll love the thing.
