Alright guys i got some big news! Today i saw a very beautiful truck on a lot. It was a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500, all black, with the 5.9 liter engine and with a huge liftkit and all the sweet packages. They want 7,000 for it. There putting the state inspection on it tomorrow and i am going to test drive it again to see if it fits my standards. If it does, i will be purchasing the truck, and then selling my dodge neon out in front of my yard for maximum value! I am wicked excited about this. I need a v8 lol! My bro has that big 7.5l v8 f=350 and i just love it, this dodge is just as high as his truck, its all black and completely badass! I hope they can fix the issues, and if so, i will def. be offloading my neon. I know its sad but i know its tyme if i want to get rid of the car, its in its prime. Its all decked out, and has 72,000 miles, so nows the time to get max value on a private sale for all the work i put into it. I know i might sound like a neon cop out here, but i couldnt help it, i needed the v8, i just love truks, and i just want that power of a truck! Anyways ill keep ya guys updated here, if the truck runs rough tomorrow even aftewr inspection, i dont know if ill buy it or not though, depends how she runs, ill let ya know, later guys! I def. wonmt be sleeping tonite hhaha

lol thatd make me sad, atleast its a dodge right?? haha i love my neon so much, but im going to be an electrical engineer, and i just need a truck for the business! I am going to miss all that work i put into this car, but i need a v8, and its just not practical for me to own the neon with the work i am going to do, besides, i want to be able to give my brother some hassle for once off the line hehe

ya, the udp and the lowering springs are actually on there way in the mail...unfortunately...its all very sad, very sad actually, but i just know its what i want. i just love the feeling of being in a big loud black truck, i dont know what it is, it just takes me over. Hopefully ill get good money doing a private sale on the neon. i def. will not be settling for cheap by any meansd, even tho ill prob. get nowhere near for it as for what i put into it!

 

You're going to learn that mods work against you when it comes to selling a car...

 

very true. but as far as selling it privately, you can always find some kid or someone that is into performance and will pay a little extra for it.

 

this is WHY you save all the old parts off the car, take the mods off, and sell indivually as used performance parts. The car will sell for the same price... and rake in the extra kayish by selling the mods individually.

i know, but id rather see if i could sell the car as is for 4800 on the street. if not ill take the 17s off and put on the my american racing rim tire/rim package in the 15" size, but as it stands now, i was only ghoin to get 3200 for trade in value, so id like to get a lot more back into my pocket towards the truck, that is if the truck comes thru today.
