Well the only rim i'm ever going to put on are the stock SRT's. It'd be nice to run 225-50-17. That won't fit?

I honestly couldnt tell you whether they would or not, I'm sure they will, but I couldnt give you a definite answer either way. But I wouldnt run 225 on a 6" wide wheel anyways...

I totally forgot that the stock tire size on them is 205/50/17. I don't know what I was thinking.

Couldn't a $10 spacer from modern fix the problem?

The stock SRT-4 ACR wheel size is 225-50-16, so amybe thats what you were thingking of.

As for the spacers, it could, but I dont recommend wheel spacers under any circumstances...if your really concerned about getting wide tires then find some nice aftermarket 7" wide rims (used or new should be fairly cheap).

Oh yeah I know how that is, I've bought my girlfriend two Coach purses and I just bought her a diamond ring...with all that money I could have bought a set of Stage 3 coilovers and some brand new 17" wheels and tires[8D]. But she's worth it so I dont mind[&:].

I did a 2 & 4 kit on my 2001 SLT and it was pretty straight forward. The next time I would pay a shop a few hours to do it though. Your going to get a "firmer" ride and need to to a front end alinement. My adjustments were almost to the limits after the kit was installed. I heard that some kits are difficult to get into specs or even close. Heads up!

I have stock SRT rims on my 04 R/T, I have 215/40-17 Bridgestone RE050's on them and they fit, ride nice, and look sweet. I've read on the other forum you can go 225, but that's pretty much the widest you should go on a 6inch wide rim.

The widest you should go on 6" wide wheels is 215 for safety reasons...theres a huge thread over on SRT Forums about this very topic.
