Correction: They never sold the Lip Kit in solar yellow since it was a discontinued color. (I really wish they had though!!!! [:@] [:@])

Your welcome 03. I buffed out my pieces (they didnt need it that bad) but I would suggest buying some for working out any imperfections in the paint.

There are a couple tips
1.)Get a good compund (like alcohol) to clean off the parts before painting, and keep them as clean as possible.
2.)If you are doing it in your garage like I did, pull all the cars out and take a hose to the garage floor and the driveway. This seriously limits the amount of dust and static electricity. I also used an aircompressor with an airnozzle to spray off dust that would land on the peice in-between shooting.
3.) Paint the edges first (use light coats and go over them a few times), and after the edges dry (DRIES FAST!!!) paint the body of parts.
4.) When spraying the clear coat make sure you spray it away from the other parts, the spray is kinda icky (as in it spits out some gunk) and it can over-spray onto the other parts effectively making the piece look "foggy" or "un-shiney."
5.) Take your time, light coats, let each coat set before laying down another coat (like 5 minutes). Let the paint set for atleast 25-30 minutes before shooting the clear.

Dude, all your ride needs is some wheels and it would look nasty.... great job on that kit. Personally, the best thing about the Neon is that you can mod the look and performance of those like crazy. Looks great man, really great...
How much paint would I need to paint my side skirts? They will be here Friday and I want them to be solar yellow, not blaze red.
I'm going to order 'em from Paintworld as well I assume. They seem to have packages but it doesn't look like it's nearly enough paint. So any tips on how much stuff to order?

Well, It depends. If it is JUST the sideskirts I would order 2 cans of paint.
Also... take my advice into consideration. The paint they used on our cars (and so is the paint you will get) gets staticly charged and will attract dust and other stuff to IT!! Make sure you wet down the floor and do it in a well ventalated area. If you have a compresser and a spray tip... just use it to spray off the pieces before each coat.
