well i havent driven my neon in about a week and a half now cuz of powersteering. 2morrow ima start on it. i got a new pulley, for da second time, and i new belt tensioner. well c how it goes tomorrow since i never changed a tensioner b4. i always had problems wit powersteering. first it was da pump, then da pump again, then da pulley and now da pulley and tensioner. i hope its da last powersteering work i have to do wit my car. i was going to order some motor mount insert from modern, but i had to buy a new tensioner. if it all goes good ima buy da inserts next week

yea lets hope it does. i have all day tomorrow to work on it cuz i want it ready for 4th of july.

 

my 4th of july cant get anybetter. well today early in da morning i finished changing da belt tensioner, and new powersteering pump pulley. but may i say it was a pain to change everytin wit loosening da engine and all dat. and now i finally get to drive my car, i havent driven it in 2 weeks, i wasa little raspy wit da gears cus it was so long but i got da hang of it again. well hopefully wit getting da new tensioner it will solve my powersteering problems for a good while. sorry its long but now i just need to wash my car. nextweek ima get my new race motor inserts so now i c how to change them but i got a question to those who already changed it. how do i get da rubber off wen i put in da new inserts? thanx in advance and happy 4th of july and be safe and dont drink and drive.

awesome its running again.. As far as the mms. just slide them in. dont change anything about the motormount itself as-is. just force the insert into it. good luck

 

so dont take off any rubber off da insert just force dem in. cus i do c a gap and once i get da inserts i wana put them in so my engine is stiffer. ima get da race ones to. cant wait to get them it would be good to cus in a month ima get ready for da srt swap so i just remove da inserts and use dem for da srt engine. oh cant wait, da inserts would be my next engine mod, kinda.

 

I have the race inserts. The only way to make them fit is cut a little of the rubber from the mount out. It wont fit otherwise. Even with a hammer and hopes and prayers it wont go in.
