Exhaust Question
So here's what I got... 04 R/T, Borla Stainless mid section, 2.25", no resonators. Thermal R&D rear section dual outlet.
here's the problem...I need a resonator, it sounds pretty much like putting an SRT rear section on a stock pipe. Cool, but loud and raspy. I am thinking of putting a resonator in line to soften it up a bit. My question...what should I use? I have seen the Flowmater Hushpower II reso which looks like it will decrease the sound quite a bit, and I have seen the cheaper vibrant ones which are straight through with sound absorbtion around it? Will the vibrant really make that big of a difference, and will the flowmater be too drastic and restrictive. I am not looking for gains here, simply sound and looks. Frankly it looks friggin awesome, tips match the R/T cutouts in the lip kit, and they aren't too big.
My other question is does it matter where I put the reso? Right after the cat pipe, or more in the middle of the mid section?
Thanks for any suggestions!

In my opioionI would ues a Cherry Bomb!(glass pack)Its more of a straight throu pipe but it has holes on the inside that acts as a resonator. It will hush it a little bit and it is fairly cheep. I got one for mine at Pepboys for only like $20. It just depends on how long you want to. I would put right after the cat it will make it alot easyer. Let me know what you do. Talk to you later.

I'm very suprised the Borla catback didnt come with a resonator in the midpipe, considering the stock R/T midpipe has a resonator from the factory. As for placement, the glasspack or resonator should be in the middle of the midpipe...
