another odd question
Well I didnt go through with the lift on my neon but now im looking to do something that I havent seen on anyones neon and Im hoping its not because it cant be done. My first car was an 86 buick LeSabre and the best feature on it was the hood. It flipped forward and I was wondering if there was a kit out there or would it be possible to fabricate one. If anyone has done this or has any input on how to do it that would be great.
my saab(s) opened like that... i found it to be a big pain in the *** to work on because of it. I don't think there is a kit made for this, but anything is possible if you can custom fab it.

My husbands workin on the plans to my flip flip hood . When I get my sxt back from the shop I have a flip flop trunk now going to have a flip flop hood . Custom is the coolest way to go with a ride ! Great at shows also.
thanks for the ideas....I was afraid of the whole doing it myself and the only kits I found are for ford trucks. Im going to have to do some major research and get down to fabing one. I have the flip flop truck I just havent had time to put it together. Plus my neon seems to love to find sharp pointed objects on the road and Ive been through 6 tires in the last year. I think I need to invest in some run flats. Oh well thats another topic. Thanks again for the ideas and to those who didnt post you can keep them coming cause it looks like it might be a few months before i can get the final process done.
You can shave your door handles and trunk key hole thats pretty custom and looks really cool. You can do a custom intake and exhaust setup and also bodykit .

as tempting as the 12's are I dont think that I will go any bigger then 16's with a 2 inch drop. I like the look of the shaved and Im looking at a push button start but im looking at a british laguna for the ignition since the key is the shape and size of a credit card. It would definately add the custom look.
