Default Tire question

Okay so I know little about tires and I know the stock is a 185/60/R15 for an 05 SXT. Question I have is will a 195/60/R15 fit on the stock rim? Walmart doesnt carry the 185's but do have the 195's. Just wondering.

Yep, it sure will....

The way to explain tire sizes are as follows.... 195/60/R15

195 = Width of the tire in millimeters
60= This tells you how tall the tire is in regards to the width. Basically, it just tells you how tall or low profile the tire is...
R15= This is the diameter of the actual wheel itself...

Basically, going to a 195 is just a slightly wider tire......and you can run these with no problem.

*edit*

Forgot to mention that by changing tothat taller tire, you're speedo will be off and you'll be going roughly 2mph faster then what it actually reads...

195/60/R15's are what I have on my stock wheels and they worked fine.

According to BFG you could put a 205/55R15 tire on that rim which would be almost spot on for the speedo.
