SRT 4 hood question

Default SRT 4 hood question

Will a SRT-4 hood fit on my R/T? and also, does anyone know a good sigt for hoods that ARE NOT carbon fiber? Thanks.

I dont see why an srt hood wouldnt fit on an r/t. Its the same body design. You might be able to find one on the srt forums or ebay. As far as new, oemdodgeparts.com has an 04-05 stock hood w/ power bulge. I dont know if that is the srt hood or not. You could call and find out. There asking $750+. Good luck.

Yeah, but it's an inch longer than the SXT hood. I have a pic of mine on an SRT bumper, can't get you one of the opposite.

The SRT-4 hood is shorter, not longer, on a stock Neon bumper...you'll have a slight gap, not an overhang. But yes, it will fit...

Holy hell. They charge any more for just the hood, it better come with a free car. I'd add a custom scoop to my factory hood before I laid down that kind of cash for an OEM SRT4 hood....

just try ebay or junk yards. you also have companies that got fiberglass hoods that are lightweight and still got alot of looks. good luck finding one. one day ill be getting one.lol

Just keep in mind that eventually the paint on the fiberglass hood will probably crack and spiderweb everywhere... usually takes a few years, but that's one of the only reasons why I shy away from fiberglass hoods... between the heat and the flexing.
