I didn't need a flex pipe to go along with my MPX LTH and cat-back exhaust. Normally the long tube headers come with a pipe right after the header and that's all u need.

But on a serious note...you can start with: cold air intake, longtube header, Comp 400 Camshaft, Unorthodox Underdrive Pulley, DOHC pistons, full catback exhaust, 60mm TB, P&P Cylinder head/Intake manifold and port match. Those are for starters...

03neonrt: taken if someone added those suggested mods, what number range do you think that would make.
If you added ALL of those mods (and all the P&P work was agressive and well done) then you would probably be in the 150-160 range...which is about the max your going to see on the 2.0 without going to a much larger cam (#005) and something like MS'n'S, among other things.
i should be in the 150's already right? being an r/t

We have 150 crank horsepower stock...which is around 130whp-135whp.

would an obx header on ebay be worth buying or go to modernperformance? I saw the mpx LTH on that site, but i was wondering about the ebay LTH. thanks

MPx is better, but the OBx is cheaper...

i really want to start modding my car more than just the CAI, but i'm just trying to stay away from getting an annoyingly loud car. right now the car seems to have a descent purrr/growl when i get on it. but i don't know. i know thats mainly exhuast but everything changes something
