Default P 1390

I'm getting this P 1390 code error. I did have my timing belt work on as well the replaced a new water pump since we were already there. We followed the manual as far as the timing belt and it's mark are concern. I didn't do the repair but just want to knowif the crankshaft position sensor located where I can see or will a ceriftied machanic have to open up the engine. That way when I talk to the person that did the work think I know a little bit about what is going on. Oh, thanks to this forum I was able to check the code on the odometer using the techinque disscribe and resetting the codes. That was so easy. Now when I go to the machanic I'm going to show him that I don't need a Actron Scanner check from Autozone or Oreilly's.

the only thing that worries me is that all OBDII codes are universal unlike OBDI where one code could mean one thing on one car and another on another.

The sticky says: P1390 Wheel Speed Sensor 1 - G - Sensor Circuit
Other research tells me: Timing Belt skipped one tooth or more

If i knew the year of his car i would know which FSM to look it up in.

I have a Plymouth Neon 2000 2.0L SOHC 4 Door.
Thanks for the research guy.
Well if it's a Wheel Speed Sensor 1 - G - Sensor Circuit, where can I find that part in the car to have it replaced? And if the error code still comes on after resetting the code then I'll check into the timing issue.

if you want to waste your time and check the wheel speed sensor, you can go right ahead. My screenshot is straight from the Factory Service Manual. I wish i had money to throw away like you.
